If you're driving it like a perfectly restored car, then any pad is fine.
EBC has several different grades of friction material to respond to the needs of different cars.
I wouldn't spend the money on an expensive pad if you're not going to have modern tires and suspension.
Put a good Raybestos or Wagner Semi-metallic pad on a restoration type car and be done.
I agree, a friend has a 69 Mustang and it broke much worse with EBC pads, they weren't getting enough heat in them on the street to work properly...

I would rather run Hawks. Although I do have EBC's on trucks and SUV's. The Yellow stuff are squeakers.
Mopar to the bone!!!

I don't know which "color" of their pads are best for street use. My buddy switched to Hawk and the car stops much better...

I just installed EBC yellow on my daily Dart today. I had Hawk HPS on the car before but wasn't that impressed (anymore) with them. Could be I need to step down one size in MC diameter from the current 1-1/32" to 15/16". Braking is just fine, even at mild speeds but I just can't apply them enough to lock 'm in the front. Hoping the Yellow's have a bit more bite before I start playing with MC's again.
Please report back your findings.

FYI, I also installed new fresh discs in the process, keeping the orientation of the old HPS pads respective with the old discs.
....
Do you notice any braking differences so far?

..so the next time i'm driving and a normal or pannick stop is required their claim to stop quicker and be easier on the rotors is not actually true? There's really no way to know. First - Some of the old pads were really good, such as ones with Raybestos lining BSI 452 (rated FG). The edge lining markings, if the manufacturer provides them, will indicate if linings are in the same ballpark. But its only ballpark. Second - its temperature dependent. A lining that grips well pulling an early SHO (known for undersize brakes) down hard from 75 mph may not grip well pulling your viper out of your driveway at 30 F. Third - How well a lining works is also driver and system dependent. Some drivers like an instant response some like a more progressive one. A power brake system with a grippy lining in the front might feel uncomfortable for some drivers. For example I found Raybestos's "Professional Grade" pads semi-metalic for my wagoneer to be a little too grippy and I'm still getting used to them. Now if they had a similar lining for the rear drums, or I didn't have a power assist - I bet the balance would be better to my taste.

I ran the yellow stuff on my wife's jeep, she complained about the squealing but they would put you through the windshield. I wound up putting in some basic ceramics after they wore out, now I have to stand on the pedal to get it to slow down. She like it better because they don't squeal. I may just put dual piston calipers to get it to brake better off of a Grand Cherokee.

I may just put dual piston calipers to get it to brake better off of a Grand Cherokee. See if you can buy the pads with the same "Professional Grade" lining as the D52 pads on my GrandWagoneer. Lots of grab, friction rating FF, semi-metallic, no-squeal, reasonably priced. Here's the details. Mfc: Raybestos Pad shape: D52 Edge Code: BPI-LC-FF Mfc Desc: Professional Grade Part Number: PGD52M Type of Lining: Semi-Metalic The G Wagoneer only has a single pot sliding caliper - nothing special. Yesterday I was carrying close to a full load (about 900 lbs) and it braked well, only got the linings hot enough to smell once. Of course I allowed for extra stopping distance and all the usual precautions with extra weight in the back.
