It almost looks like a groove worn in my the U bolt, but the U bolt ought to sit further inboard. If it doesn't leak I'd probably run it. They say there are no such thing as a stupid question. MoparforLife Too Many Posts M Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 25,200 Upper Midwest	I wouldn't worry about it. Even if it were a pin hole there the chance of a leak would be very minimal if any. Looks to be on top of the housing and there would not be much lube in that area to throw around.

dulcich super stock D Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 931	You can grind clean, MIG, rough grind and finish it off with a file and you wouldn't be able to see where it was chafed. If you have the tools it would take less than ten minutes.
