What size accelerator pumps, squirters and cam are you using on that 950? You might try a carb. spacer or a different intake to help the 60 fts Have you found what RPM the car leaves the satring line best yet? If not experiment to get the best What bore and stroke is your motor?

motor is a few years old now, but not a lot of runs. 414 ci 13.25 comp. mopar 620 solid cam B1 heads with stage one port job. Koffels place built.950 holley on edlebrock torker 2. dyno'd at 565hp 550 tq
Based on your HP and weight your a whole second slow... so either its not making the power or its not getting to the track...whats the MPH on your average runs

I'll go with Cab. Carb tuning - squirter and pump cam timing/coordination, is a very tedious job that can provide surprising results. No simple, blanket answers. Footbrake is harder to tune, but I never ran a trans brake or 2-step.
One goal is to get the primary and secondaries to finish squirting at the same time, once you figure out when they need to stop. How high you come up on the converter (footbrake) affects how much fuel is left to squirt when you mat it.
Squirters and pump cams for 60' and jet for mph.
I tend to be conservative, so I'd suggest a smaller carb (750-850), better intake (Holley Strip Dominator) and experiment with spacers (tapered 4 hole?).

prretty much out of the box 950 hp carb, avgmph prob 123. this is after the chang e from 4200 to 4800 conv. 124. to125 before same et. went up to the 1-7/8 headers along the line. also i do have a 1 inch spacer under the carb, been there since the start. dynoed flatteron the tq.
Whats your fuel supply system... your MPH is low so I'm wondering if its a fuel issue.... I should say its low for the HP that you stated but is in line with your ET now

Carb squirters and carb squirter timing, then suspension. Are the slicks still wrinkled up 80 feet out? Getting up on the tire is the best way to get rollin' The CE shocks might work, but some adjustables would help tune the suspension. Good luck.
Yeah, it's got a smallblock.

i see a couple things have gone unanswered. first i do not have a wideband, the bore is 4.060 stroke is 4.00. i have one last question, any chasis change suggestions or upgrades. just have 6 cyl. bars and 90-10 ce shocks. also what needle and seat should i use i have the ones in question? thanks for your time.
I like to put .120 or .130 needle/seats in my carbs.. as said check timing squirter shot (both start and finish)... I'm not a fan of the shocks... I like a better adjustable one... get the best you can.. the 6 cyl bars are fine.. make sure you have good front end travel, do a flow test on the fuel system... also whats your cranking pressure
