IEAT4DS OP member I Joined: Feb 2008 Posts: 119 Minnesota	I need to get all under hood components to complete my project. Did other models/years/or engines use the same set-up as the 69 dart. I have seen parts from other models/years/engines but I do not know if they would be compatible. Thanks for the help. Scott

Rhinodart Rhinotruck Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 43,543 Round Lake Beach, Illinoisy	SOME of the parts will work. 273-318 engines have different length compressor struts as the 4-bbl intake is taller making the struts shorter. When I put a crate 360 with a factory 340 intake in my 68 Dart convertible that was originally a 318 A/C car I had to modify the struts. The original parts will work but modifications are needed. kentj340 top fuel Joined: Mar 2011 Posts: 1,653 Cut and Shoot, TX	See the 340 engine assembly manual reprint here: http://www.faxonautoliterature.com/1969-Dodge-Dart-Engine-Assembly-Manual-Reprint-P20360.aspx Very nice to have - shows Mopar drawings of all the brackets and part numbers for A/C on a 340 plus more. I have the Plymouth version of the manual, which might be the same as Dodge. I think these drawings are a small part of what used to be available at Hamtramck Historical but were "seized" by Chrysler. This manual has drawings of all the "engine dress", the stuff put on the engine at the assembly plant, such as throttle cable, accelerator pedal, carb, PVC, fuel pump, starter, engine and trans mounts, choke, fan drive, alternator, PS, A/C. The drawings don't show anything done at the engine plant. PM me if you want a peek. If you don't see two dolphins, you need a vacation.

Or does the pad around the vents make the 68 case and other stuff different enough not to bother with a '68? The air vents are chrome on 69 and 68. But '68 has pad around it similar in idea to the bottom dash pads on 68 only dashes. I think went black plastic in 70. Last edited by autoxcuda; 02/22/15 10:05 PM.

IEAT4DS OP member I Joined: Feb 2008 Posts: 119 Minnesota	Those are great pictures! Thank you I have all the inside stuff.Heater box is all rebuilt too. It looks and works like new. The only thing I have under the hood is a water valve. It is the same valve you have in the photo's.
