what would you guys advice regarding spark plug choice for a 10:1 383 with a 292° hyd MP cam?

This is a street driven engine.

That`s the heat range(hot)but you need the stocking # I think so let me check.

If stock iron eads I would use a Autolite 74 or 75, try the colder #74 first and see if it and your local gas get along If aluminum then I would try the Autolite # 65 or 85(I think the # 85 are the restior plugs in 3/4 long reach, it is the same plug used in the stock SB Mopar heads )

autolite 3924's for 3/4" reach. 85's are 3/8" reach.

autolite 3924's for 3/4" reach. 85's are 3/8" reach.




I use the 3924 also for my SB which works on the
BB alum heads for anything in the 10 compression range

N is 3/4" reach.. C is 3/8" reach

which mopar heads need 3/4 reach and which need 3/8"??

im talking stock cast iron small and big block, Stock HEMI,

and also what about the stealth heads, and the edelbrock big block heads?

Your stock iron heads use a 3/8" reach... all SB
and BB alum heads use a 3/4" reach

Nope, see the SB quote correction above, 426 Hemi uses 3/4 reach plugs also like the L.A. SB Mopars use

I'll let Cab answer that for ya.. he is a BB guy with
way more experience than me on the heat range for BB

try some autolite 85's and see how they burn. they're cheap, fairly easy to get.
