Thanks for the reply. Anyone have any comparison pictures of the two?
They were cast from original manifolds.

Some, not all have a few minor problems that can be taken care of easily. The Starter may rub on the manifolds and sometimes the holes used to bolt to the head do not line up 100%. Other wise if they are repros a little bit of port matching would not hurt. Not sure if anyone else has run into more problems

You may need to dress down any casting flash back on the donut shaped collector. Find a piece of scrap pipe - make sure it is very round - to use as a guide so you will end up with a good sealing surface for the head pipes. Just one less headache to deal with...

I have 2 different customers who claim that the ears broke off when the tightened the collector to H pipe bolts.
I have x2 sets on cars and that NEVER happened. Now that's first hand experience Scotty boy.

Were they using a 1/2" impact gun set on KILL when installing them with the flanges cocked ???
No information on who or how/using what when the manifolds were installed ...

Nope, guess I'll just stop posting such input unless a full ISO9000 audit has been completed first.

Come on Scotty, you don't need an ISO 9000 certification, just accurate information that typically is acquired from "hands on" experience. He said she said stops at the front door.
