This is the head on my 510ci SBC
Cast by All Pro Cylinder heads, the floor of the port at the opening is 3 inches to the gasket to give you some perspective.

Here is a pro action head I know a guy runs. It's big but not as big as the poster above. From what I understand these heads came from New Zealand.

How well would this port work on a EFI street engine with a turbo? Does the large port affect a EFI engine the same as a carb setup?

Port volume of the chevy head and Brett's could be exactly the same

I am not speaking from personal experience here as I haven't fired my new EFI build yet. But, I believe the port isn't as much of an issue with port injection EFI because there is no need for carb signal and the fuel won't fall out of suspension.

Not that I'm the sharpest tool in the shed of F.I. But I think inwould have to agre on that since the F.I. unit is injecting pressurized fuel closer to a mist than droplets directly in the port at the valve when you need/want it to. The air velocity is not as important. The computer (should be) taking care of everything else. Not that a fine tune of the computer wouldn't hurt.

Thanks, I was wondering how modern engines run with over 300 CFM intake flow so well. Back in the day your car would be lazy as he'll with that much flow on the street.
