First thing you would need to know is what size F3 units they are. Making 60lbs I assume it would be a 139 or a newer 136. Are they geardrive or belt?
One day I will have something cool here.

If you only want to run bottom 9's you sure won't have to spin it hard but will need a stout engine. 30lbs of boost on my f2 gets me bottom 7's @3300lbs.

Steve Morris has a SBC kit for $6000 you might get him to modify it but that will cost $$&$ also . Charge tube and v-bands can start at $500 and go to $2000 depending on how many clamps and if you have a inter cooler ( air - water will set you back $2000 for the box , water tank ,pump and hose ) If you go with a carburetor is a minimum of $1300 for car and hat for a good one is way over $2000 working . If you want to go EFI look at around $3500- $10,000 . Your are looking at a minimum of $9000 and for the good stuff, around $17,000 to $20,000 . For a carb fuel delivery you will need some sort of data logging system so add a extra $1000 -$2000+ for that . Along with a good converter $1200-$2800 You have to make sure your transmition is good so throw away your 727 and put a t-400 or glide in $$$$ . Rear end and drive shaft $$$ . And so on . There are some thrifty MF's out there that will barnyard their builds and say it will cost 1/2 but they are easy to spot a mile away . If you want to put on a power adder just to cruise around a act cool then so be it ,there are plenty of shops that will sell shiney parts .
