Any help is appreciated. demon super stock D Joined: Feb 2006 Posts: 1,179 Canada	What I often do is get an old back seat from a junker and salvage the burlap. Usually a back seat has less wear and it's big enough to provide what you need.

65pacecar master Joined: Dec 2003 Posts: 6,713 KY	I bought new burlap then duplicated the pattern using welding wire through the burlap. Works great, a little stiffer that the original wire. Been that way for several years and no issues.

Stanton Don't question me! S Joined: Oct 2005 Posts: 8,881 Ontario, Canada	rethreading the wire would be a piece of cake ... fold the burlap into pleats the width of the spacing, stick all the wires through the middle, flatten out the burlap.

hemi70se top fuel H Joined: May 2003 Posts: 2,483 Minneapolis, MN	New burlap is CHEAP, why reuse 40 year old stuff? I always use new burlap and I found new stainless wire on Amazon sold in 5 ft lengths. Restoring seats and seat tracks is a bit time consuming but you get brand new looking results.
