Is there any significant difference between the length of driveshafts between these 2 cars (69) Looking at a shaft custom made for a bee and wondering if any issues with slightly longer ds for use in a roadrunner?

The Road Runner is a bit shorter, .63 inch (5/8"). Part numbers and lengths:
RR - 2996560 50.39" SB - 2996581 50.96"
Hope this helps.

A shaft too long (Dodge vs Ply swap)will fit, BUT when the suspension/axle compresses/pinion rotates upward on acceleration during it's travel it can force the yoke to bottom out in the tail shaft of the transmission often resulting in a busted tailshaft...the best way to measure for a shaft is to have the rear axle in place with the tires on the ground, tranny installed, proper driveline angles in place, the vehicle at curb weight (if possible) insert just the yoke in the tranny, pull it back out of the tranny a minimum of 3/4", and measure center to center from the u-joints from the yoke's u joint to the center of the pinions u joint for proper shaft dimensions

send me the specs of the shaft , if you don't use it I might be able to use it ...
also , if the price is right for the shaft and it's an HD piece you can always have it shortened ...

.63 is 5/8 and considering the amount of work you are doing to the car I wouldn't size a driveshaft till it's DONE
