1965Monaco OP member 1 Joined: Feb 2014 Posts: 17 Maine	I have a newly acquired '65 Monaco and would like to put on some wider, steel wheels with dog dish caps. Can someone let me know the widest wheel/tire combo for a '65 C-body? thanks

6bblgt I Live Here Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 17,521 Las Vegas, NV	Don't know how wide you can go, but be aware the '65 "dog dish" hub caps are 10" VS. '68 & newer being 9-1/2" in diameter.

A spring shop might be able to re-arch yours but I've heard steel has a "memory" and the spring will slowly but surely settle back to where it was. http://www.springsnthings.com/ To properly re-arch would require heat treatment to re-program the spring if you will.
