Any one have a good source for a fuel sending unit for a 1976 Trailduster, they don't seem to exist?

Or have a parts book from back then that would have the correct part number in it. I have located some but just part numbers, don't know what they fit

That is where I am not sure if it is the same. They are talking about the tanks on the trucks that are along the frame. The Trailduster / Ramchargers had a plastic tank mounted in the rear between the frame rails.

I guess I don't care as long as it reads correct and works with the stock gauge.

I hate to hijack, but, I also can not seem to find this for my 1979 Dodge Magnum. At least the outside of that sender looks to be the same as mine. Any help?
Thanks.

75 ramcharger. reads empty. Is my sender the same (or wired the same) as the one in the pic? I'm assuming the black base threaded nipple is a ground & the red one is for the sender? Which wire at the rear bumper harness is for the (red nipple terminal) sender so I can ohm it?

I found part number on it anyway, it is 3738891, can't seem to find anything with that number though.

I had this issue also. I did find a reproduction one for my car (65 Newport) but I have never had good luck with aftermarket or reproductions. I found a place in New York that specializes in restoring them. Cost seems to be reasonable. Quote over the phone sight unseen was 75 to 175 depending on work needed and they will call with a firm number upon their inspection. Place is called Tri Starr Radiator and located in Seneca Falls New York. Website is www.tristarrradiator.com
2 week turn around. I just sent mine in Monday so I can't report results yet.
