OK so I have a Cardone select 13-1822 master cylinder (85 Diplomat) I wanted to use in my 69 Belvedere disc o tech conversion.. Problem is it doesn't have a machined area to lock in the push rod..power brake only master. There are exactly zero masters available locally - and if I can't see it I won't know if the detail is there. I am thinking I need to order another from the US but which brand? Is this luck of the draw or are some more likely to have the manual or power piston in the MC? Any way to secure the manual push rod in the power Master ? Plazomat

For your application the 1-1/32" bore is recommended. The photo I posted is supposedly the m/c you currently have as that's what came up from Cardone when I punched in your p/n.
I'd pull the back clip and measure the piston. Could be the wrong part in the box.
I did pull the clip and the piston measures less than 1 inch in diameter - I guess that means its a 15/16 unit..I thought it was supposed to be a 1-1/32 - uh oh....
Thanks gents - at least I know what likely went wrong and I have some more shelf weight..

The ports won't match originals on any of the m/c's.
What? Thought it was a direct bolt in for the lines?
