Hello, trying to find a a Rev-n-nator ignition box. And can't seem to find one. Mancini says they have no clue as to when they might see stock if ever. And the R/T Garage doesn't look like they sell them on their web site. Do they still make these? Thanks

Mine was bought from Mancini last year at Carlisle.
Out of curiosity, what has since happened that they currently aren't making them?

could you explain this statement! is there trouble with the box or trouble with the install (which is supposed to be plug and play)?

I don't have one but I seem to remember a thread on here where Dave Dudek liked his Rev-n-nator pretty well.

You remember correctly...it was the ridiculous HP increase claims that were unsubstantiated (and impossible). These claims and the resulting soured many from purchasing what may have been an otherwise good box.
Dave
while I never believed the real world gain initially posted I did believe in the testing Dunnuck Racing did. it was the statement "I got mine from Mancini but I never got it to work" that concerned me. I hadn't heard of any issues and have been recommending them to guys looking to upgrade based on the testing.

I bought one to replace a chrome box , it worked ok for a little while
No performance gains, zero ..none, period
Car did not start as well , the tach needle jumped all over
After using it for a few weeks
after the 3rd or 4th run down the track, car would miss stumble, sputter
I hated it , took it off, replaced it with a MSD Street fire box
runs so much better, no misses
but, they did refund me the cost of the box, no tax or shipping but I did get $199.00 back
I would never ever buy another one ,ever

My tach twitches quite a bit too with this box. I e-mailed them about it, but they didn't seem to know what I was talking about.
I would like to have more info about the vacuum advance situation. I have always ran it, and would like to now. I just haven't taken the time to experiment with it with this box, so it is unhooked.
Has anyone experimented with vacuum advance with these boxes? What problems are associated with running vac advance? And can the issues be adjusted out?
Master, again and still
