I just heard of an export Hemi 71 'Cuda hardtop that is optioned beast of breed level.

<~~~~~ I get to travel, a lot. Around the world. I have seen some unusual cars tucked away in an unexpected location.

I have herd rumors for many years of two 71 hemicudas that were ordered new for International Specification and have never been back to the USA. Too bad that my searches have not been successful.

(Different then the ones ordered new from France)

Super documentation Dan! I just wonder if the owner is making his own tags, or if someone is helping him out. Naughty naughty.

I've seen some VERY poorly done tags before, but

You are right Dan, this is the poster child.

Automatic car is done. Ready to ship back overseas.

Shifter handle is customers/owners choice.

Ae these 71' Charger B-Body sunroofs more like a factory E-Body sunroof or would they be the same as the 68-69 B-Body sunroofs?

Thanks for sharing autoxcuda! Too bad the Mopar community will not get to see it at a major show before it is shipped back overseas. Very nice Charger. Scott.

They are different size wise than both the '69-'70 Charger & e-body roofs.

Hopefully it will remain in town long enough to make an appearance at "FALL FLING"!

Yep, looks like the 1971 Hemi sunroof Charger made the Fall Fling. Posted over on dodgecharger.com

http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/board,1.0.html

Go to Charger Discussion, then the thread - 1971 R/T (Fall Fling)

Sorry, I can't get the link to go directly to the thread.

A Sales Order number of G45353 does not mean it's the 4,5353'd sunroof car off the line. Once again bad information posted. Since you guys play FT police and games with fender tag info what the six digit SO number means will remain a secret for now.

Thanks njsteve for posting the "vintage" picture. Interesting that it had been redone once already - with white top and interior - and colored bumpers.
Scott.

It came from the factory in orange and white top/white interior with rubber bumpers.

The photo above shows the car in its original condition as when I pulled it out of storage in 1988. It still had its original paint at the time but it was terrible looking. I had it scuffed and repainted in 1991. The original paint was so badly applied at the factory and so thin that people would insult the car when I brought it to shows. There was almost no paint (just primer) on the firewall and lower inner fenders. The paint on the rear valance was just a continuous series of drip marks and runs - like they tried to chase the run to the bottom when it was still wet. The passenger quarter even had a big hunk of lead in it where they must have dripped it down when they were doing the original roof seams. They just smeared it around instead of removing it, and then just painted over it. it looked just horrible, and it was the size of a dinner plate.

He's seriously ill right now, perhaps needed cash/reserves for medical/financial reasons

Thanks njsteve - I got confused, my fault. I thought you had posted an original pic of the FE5 car that started this post. Your pic is the EV2/V1W Hemi sunroof R/T. Got it! Thanks again. Scott.
