Usually you get what you pay for , but is that true in starter relays ? most are $15-$25 w/no brand mentioned
Have burned out 2 recently on 69 big block. First was old , replaced it and now it is hit & miss. Connections are all good so do I need to shell out for better quality ...if so what ?

Might just be Mr Murphy. They tend to be pretty reliable. I'd just see what happens with the 3rd one & likely you will be fine

yes better quality....find a nors made in usa they say it right on them, often made by original supplier to chrysler..do you have an automatic trans or a stick as they are different, i can give you the #s and brands to search for...modern imported replacements from MIC(mexico,India, china ) are CRAP

Good point as it ain't no secret that quality has deteriorated on almost everything.

We used BWDs at work and had no problems.Advanced sells them.My 65 still runs the OE one as does the kids 62.Typically they very seldom go bad.Rocky

It's a simple relay. If they're getting burned up, something is forcing them bad. I'd get out the old multimeter before I started spending $$ on NOS stuff.
