I just picked up a meziere electric water pump for my 440 and before I install it I need to locate a mount for my alternator since the mount I am currently using uses one of the threaded holes in the stock water pump housing that the electric pump doesn't have. Does anyone know of a bracket that will work. Billet aluminum if possible but at this point I cant be to picky. thanks

Do you have the room for a low mount? Also now might be the time to switch to a smaller and lighter internal regulator unit ?

I have a new 140 amp powermaster chrome 1 wire CS130 style alternator. I may have the room for lower mount just cant find one that will bolt up to the alternator that I have. I am trying not to have to buy a new one.

Had a friend that ran 1 of those pumps. He couldnt keep his engine cool on the street. The pump didnt flow enoigh water at speed. Worket great at the strip tho..

I don't drive it much but when I do and if I get stuck in traffic or long light I can get it up to 210ish
I have a large aluminum rad, elec fan, 180 thermostat.

my hopes are that it keeps it cooler at the lower rpm.

Its a blown 440 and I even switched from 456 gears to 355 and that helped some highway driving.

My friends car with that pump on a hemi can't keep it under 210 degrees his dads hemi car with reg pump runs 160 in the heat, your choice. Someone makes a bracket kit for that pump, the son has it on his, goes in the stock location. I can't convince him to change it out, he says it looks pretty.
