rebuilt cuts about a 3rd off the value.
For my own cars it means nothing . AS LONG as I know WHY it has a rebuilt title. If the seller can't tell me WHY its a rebuilt title or it's a flood car I RUN.
That said , keep the oil changed ( preferabbly synthetic) in it and depending on miles on it I would change the timing chain, gears and water pump and drive on
Bill I didn't say anything about a "rebuilt" title, just that it had a Carfax report. I know the car since new and it was hit in back bumper when parked.
The car is adult woman owned and has 17,000 miles on it. All oil changes done at 3000 intervals. Has gotten new brakes due to the way see drives and has had new tires already because of age.
I'm pretty sure it has never gone over 70 miles per hour. This one has all the flairs/bumpers painted same as the body. I know it's a Sport but the painted flairs made it something higher up the food chain too. Ron

I'd get it.The 3.7 is the same as the 4.7 minus 2 cylinders, ours has almost 80K on it and I've done nothing but normal maintenence.

My wife has an 06 Limited, 3.7, auto, 4x4. She loves the car. Ours has 110k. Our car had some problems: about 6 or 7 window regulator changes, AC compressor, 2 water pumps (within 18 months, both for leaking), fuel pump. All except for the window regulators, happened in last 2 years. Car runs and drives just fine. The 3.7 is a good engine but bad gas mileage. I like driving it around town, easy a maneuver and no problem in smaller parking spaces. (beats my lifted Wrangler). I drive the car to Colorado in the winter to go skiing--does just fine on the highway and its always gotten me through the snow on the way to the ski resorts.

Why would you change the timing chain?
