I would start at the wire bulkhead on the firewall.
Try wiggling it to determine if that is the issue.
Was everything working recently?

when you say you have power under the hood you are only referring to jumping the "batt" to the "sol" terminal next to it on the starter relay & it cranked but did not start correct? seperate the bulkhead half that has the fusible link which is the main power going in from the battery & see if you have fire on the eng side bulkhead half brass terminal. Then jump fire to the brass terminal on the other bulkhead half & see if power is restored to the inside of the car & holler back

Is the fusible link gone? Goes from starter relay battery terminal to middle upper slot right hand side connector on B bodys.(A bodys not sure of location) If you had a serious short on inner side of firewall the link will dissintegrate. If so there will be no power to anything.

possible ammeter issue ??? A quick check is to jumper the terminals and see if things start working inside the car. If so you may have a bad or roasted ammeter. Keep in mind that it's a quick test to identify the problem. IE do not expect a 16 ga jumper lead to handle all of the current associated with the crappy desing

Do you have power at the alternator stud? That wire gets power from inside the car.
