I just put new 8mm Accel wires on my Travco(Dodge)motorhome with 440. I put 200 miles on it and most of the spark plug boots melted ?? Any ideas ?

if your running headers you just might have to run some heat sleeves or wires with better quality boots .
if your burning wires that quick with manifolds you have a tuning issue like a lean fuel mixture or not enough ignition timing advance. Big , steep geared rv,s make lots of heat and are really hard on plug wires.
I did this on my motorhome with new headers(very little room). I used the boot/wire sleeves and they worked awesome. Never had a bit of trouble in 3 years.
