The engine also had a Prestolite dual point distributor that I switched out when I was in high school. I didn;t inspect the sending unit for date codes. ScottSmith_Harms Mr Wizzard Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 42,714 Spokane Washington	The G0 is the date (July 1970). Yes I can replate them (I did that to my example pictured). As far as which style is correct manual vs auto, the auto versions Ive seen were the more compact style. Im not sure why.
