Very nice, clean install. Hopefully one day I can have my interior look as good as yours does.

Mike I installed the drivers seat with the existing adjuster and a 3/4" spacer on the rear attachment studs. On the passenger side, there was no adjustment mechanism so I made a rail out of 1 1/2" square tubing and also a 3/4" spacer in the rear. Of course the passenger side is not adjustable but it clears the rear glass at least an inch and a half. I could've redrilled the mounting holes in the floor pan to move both forward; but this will suffice in the meantime. I installed large fender washers underneath but maybe late I will make up a solid plate to tie all 4 mounting holes together for piece of mind. Again, thanks a lot Bud.
kool info on mounting them they look really nice. the new look on them is awsome in the pics so I know they are nice up close.
glad someone gets some use out of the only good part of that shifter. that longer handle for the trucks is just right.
give yours some time Roe. it will shape right up.

Thank you for the how to on making them fit a reg cab The other 5 pairs of bases that I have will get used for sure now with a set leftover in my other trucks
Larry they look great in there
On the passenger side I drilled the holes in the square tubing to mount to the seat and then drilled holes about 2 inches back to mount the tubing to the seat base.

the 88 truck I just picked up has some nice grey door panels and a nice no a/c grey dash. seat looks faded light blue but must be a cloth grey most likely.. nice with no tears so it fits my azz better than the one I gots now for sure.

I'll dye or cover them down the road; right now I am just looking to tie up a few loose ends so I can drive it with a little comfort. All the mechanicals are done with paint and body work left. Got the rest of my life to do that It's a sleeper the way it is with the 512 in it and it's a lot more fun when I pull away from the chebys and ferds....they never expect it from this old man in a beat up truck
