stock length and location on everything... what size wheel? what back spacing ? to tuck the tires in tight, so the car can be low. i don't care to roll the fender lip if i have too, or run a spacer for optimum fit. thanks guys

Thant's a big tire for an uncut a-body - my brother has a '69 & I'll guess it can't be done! Who'll prove me wrong? Bring the pics.
But I'm open to ideas! I have a '69 with 245/60-15 on 8" Cragers with 4.5" backspace. They clear fine and a 255 would probably fit(tight)but I'm very skeptical on a 275 unless you're gonna jack it up and let them stick out....not my cup of tea though.

I had bias ply 275-60 -15 on my 69 Barracuda - 15x7 steel H wheels - super stock springs in the stock location - no issues
The bias ply were true 275-60-15 most radials are a little narrower - I mentioned the factory H wheels because for the life of me I cannot remember the backspace right now - They were 70 E-body Hemi steel wheels
..... but were those tires in the wheel wells or below them?

You'll probally only get a 255/60 in there on a 4" BS on a stock spring. The best for both fitting a 275/60 & actually getting traction- is to put a set of Super Stock springs on #002/#003 for $250 & an offset kit. Then you'll have the best of both. PM me- I've got a brand new set of BFG 275/60/15's for sale. What rim and tire do you run now? I have found, as others have said here, 14" wheels are hard to find in the size/style you need/ prefer/ cost. You can grab 15x7 cop wheels cheap- and you'll be set!

They would be considered below them - didn't stick out past the body

I run that size tire on a 15 inch rim with 5 inches of backspacing, if memory serves. Plenty of room, although I did trim and smooth the fender lip just in case.
