Can a Comp 829 roller lifter safely handle 800 lbs open pressure ? This is the first time I have used a roller cam and I want it to be right. I will more than likely go with PAC 1326 springs and 3/8 Smith Brothers pushrods. My question is can the lifters handle it.

Id use Isky EZ Rolls....bushed lifter bores as well..but thats me... I havent used an 829 in a while, I hope they redesigned how the pushrod seat is retained in the lifter body...The ones I had here used only an o ring to retain the seat...Some actually came out of the lifter just from the oil tension when pulling a pushrod out...on a fully assembled engine...
