Sometime you just have to move foreword. Finance, health and many other things can force this kind of change. The important thing is that you find something that will fill the void that this change will leave. A friend of mine made the transition to remote control airplanes flying/building. Must have been a good fit for him as he has been doing it 10 plus years. Please don't be a stranger here as you have something money can't buy, experience. Good luck in what ever you do.
Getting old just means you were smarter than some and luckier than others.

You've hit the nail on the head-and I have other pursuits that are filling the hole. I'm also a guitarist-having played professionally in the 70' s and 80's, so I've picked that up again, and have been building and hotrodding custom guitars It's something I can afford, and my disability doesn't get in the way of it. I'll never loose my passion for speed and engine building tho, and I'll always look in here from time to time. Thanx for the kind words, everyone!
