I say "semi" because I believe the "High and Mighty" was the true first altered base car. Here's one of only four 2% cars made by the old Chrysler corporation. We had a chance to buy this car in Las Cruces, NM. back in the mid-80's. It was a stripped body shell with doors - no front clip & no suspension. I've posted about this car before here plus asked people I know about this car, & nobody has ever heard about it. As I recall, it was a '64 Plymouth Belvidere. I know 65's received major alterations, but how did they get 2% out of the 64's. I always wondered that. Was it just a mater of moving everything forward? Anyone have side shots of any of these cars?
