My 71 convertible front seat belts are different than my son's 71 hardtop seat belts in that the male part of the lap belt has a peg or post on it for the shoulder harness to attach to it. As you know, your convertible doesn't have the shoulder harness. The lap belt could still be used but wouldn't look right if showing it. The rear seat belts appear to be the same. Terry

The rear belts are the same for convertible and hardtop, the fronts are unique to convertible.

I don't have any firsthand experience with the convertible set, however I got my hard top 71 set there and they were great! Only thing missing is the white tags.
