Plug kit has some rubber plugs and some plastic. Have pics of finished trunks but can't tell from pics were plastic plugs go. Thanks.

I couldn't find anything in a search, but there is a factory drawing for this somewhere on this site.

70cudaMD,

What car?

Looking at your handle, on an E-body, the body plug found for the rear inner quarter panel, uses a plastic plug. There's a flat portion of the plug and it has a built in weep hole. Perhaps this is the plug you are describing?

Do you have a picture?

Yes for a 70 CUDA. Buddy of mines charger has plastic plugs in the trunk so he thought all the trunk plugs should be plastic. Just not sure because plug kits have plastic and rubber plugs. And I was wondering about the plug with hump in it. Thanks.

I have one of each. I cant see a difference. The original one on my cuda is black. I bought a repro that is gray. FYI, I'm going to rtv mine in place they do not seem to fit tight into the AMD drop-offs.

I saw a Challenger for sale on ebay that was original. They had it on a rack to show what it looked like underneath. I can tell where most of them go by looking at their pics. Some of the plastic and rubber plugs are the same size. You can tell where the rubber plugs are by the amount of material showing, there was more mass to the rubber ones. Right or wrong I'm going to put mine in the way that supposed original car has them. I think they omit provisions for plugs in some repro parts.
