Hey Terry, I haven't seen your Challenger in quite awhile but I recall it having rubber bumpers.
Those L60's look great on there
The last time I saw your Challenger it had mirrors underneath.....are those in the attic with the bumpers?

That was 1999 at Moparfest...you'll have to get out more often Jim. They were for sale as well as the other B-body mirrors and stuff I was vending that day.

OK, what is a L60/15 equal to in tire height, section width, and tread width to like a 275/60/15, or whatever?
To answer my own question, the Goodyear Polyglas GT L60/15 is very similar to the 275/60/15; and very expensive. I looked it up.

Just so you can see what your Cuda would look like, here is an old picture of my 71 HemiCuda back in 1986 with L-60-15 Goodyear polyglas on the rear and F-60-15's on the front. They were not in reproduction back then like they are today, but these still rode great.
More pictures please.

Of the tires or the car? Bought it in 86 from original owner, 33,000 miles unrestored survivor as seen in that picture. 3 build sheets, 3 tags, pretty well optioned car.

Yes, I love talking to myself as long as I don't start arguing. That can get really ugly.

Terry, Both... tires and the car. Is that the car that Gibson restored? Dana/Auto cars are my favorites.

Jason, yes after I sold it in 1994 the owner decided to have Gibson restore it. Today I think I would have left it in as found condition with some re-freshening since no sheetmetal needed replacing, but in all fairness it had some spot-ins done and the paint was pretty faded out, so perhaps the resto was justified. They repositioned the fender tags 3 in a row after the resto. I would have left them the way that creative assembly line worker screwed them down. I have seen two other loaded 71 Hemicudas but non billboard, with the tags positioned like that, one restored, and the mostly original twin to this but 4 spd one, that Downer owned in the 80's. Another picture from a 1990 NY northeast Hemi owners meet that I drove 2 hours to on the polyglas.

That car was something.....I wish I had bought that...never any money on the rare occasions you have decided to turn loose a beautiful car...that's the first of 3 "do-overs" I wish I could have( the other 2 were the 340 ragtops) ...maybe Rick will tire of the 70

Did you have custom made back spacing on rears ? Can the extra inch of rim be split on the rear rim front to back ?
