Oldstrtracr OP member O Joined: May 2008 Posts: 64 NE	Would like to know if vacuum tube on backside of AVS 4741, can be plugged. No hose from air cleaner to connect to it. 1970 Challenger 440. If plugged would that affect how it runs. Thanks

Oldstrtracr OP member O Joined: May 2008 Posts: 64 NE	Idles good, does not run strong from quarter to full throttle, as said it seems sluggish. Its not missing or bogging. Set initial timing at 16 adv. Checked air gap on MP Distributor w/ orange box and installed. Hard to explain, been away from motors for a long time. Thanks

All OE AVS's are lean (emission stds in those days were strict/alot of bandaid factory solutions were in use). Could you block the metering rods up so you are on the power circuit & retry it? live every 24 hour block of time like it's your last day on earth
