Hi,
I have a LD340 Intake that I plan on using with the stock Carter carb. This intake does not have a pot for the stock choke. Could I adapt a 225 Electric choke Holley #400669 for this combo? Thanks!

Most of the LD340s that have the Chrysler part number cast into them also have this pad cast onto the exhaust crossover. The pad is for a GM choke thermostat. If the intake does not have the Chrysler part number cast into it then it usually does not have the choke pad. Edelbrock sells their version of the choke thermostat but you can also get one from any auto parts store cheaper. If you have that pad on your intake let me know and I'll see if I can find the part number for the choke.

No Chrysler part number, no choke pad (usually).
