I picked up a CHEAP '93 D350 Club Cab. Great running Cummins auto. But there are so many things I could do with it! It needs some body work and the lights / trim are a mess. BUT - I can get all brand new shiny grille parts, front bumper, side markers, parking lights and tail lights for less than $500 from Rockauto.com. Also - there's a place where I can score a set of 19.5 wheels from a bread truck for about $100, and I can get new 19.5 tires from a buddy of mine for $160 each. I would need two fenders, a tailgate, and some minor repair on the bed and rockers, then I'd paint it white. The end result would look something like this: OR... I've always LOVED Crew Cab duallies. I could buy one and swap the Cummins into it. BUT - I'd have to spend a bit of $$$ to buy another truck, and the conversion would take some time. So, more time and $$$, but the end result would be this: OR... I also like a well-built "rat rod". There are endless possibilities, but I've narrowed it down to one that I really like, but don't see often. The '58-'60 D500 trucks are sweet! But I'm sure there would be a lot of fabrication to make the cab and fenders fit the '93 frame and the Cummins, and unfortunately most of the available projects only come with a flat bed or a grain bed, so Also - most importantly - the cab would be really small. But - it would be SO cool!

Have you considered the Big rig wheel conversion? I like them but when I came across this pic(yeah not dodge) I thought it looked Sweet. You'd just have to paint them black
I think that looks horrible

Why paint it white when black would be better? Plus painting it black, you wouldn't have to do the door jambs and under the hood. I think black looks great and I present exhibit A in my defense of black:
The grille you are talking about will not have the DODGE letters on it. Can you get chrome simulators for the 19.5s?
I like black, that truck is AWESOME! - nothing looks better than black when it is clean. But it is hard to keep clean. The jambs are blue, someone painted the black over the blue.
I know the knock-off grille doesn't say Dodge on it, but at sixty bucks there's about a $200-$300 price difference between the two. Quite a chunk of
I'm not sure about stainless simulators for 19.5, I'm sure somebody makes them...
As for semi wheels, I doubt they'd fit without raising the truck a ton. Looks OK, just too much "HEY! Look at me!" for my taste, and I can do 19.5s for under $1,000 total.

The factory 20's on my 05 ram are no where near as heavy as 22.5's. My factory 20's are around 85 lbs a price, from what I could put together on the web a 22.5 tire/ wheel package is probably double that at least. An acquaintance of mine had the whole 22.5 deal on a 3500 ram and ball joints/tie rods/pitman etc replacement was a yearly job.
I have factory 16s on a 2000 Ram Van 3500, and it's a yearly job too! LOL!
