BulletBob master B Joined: Oct 2005 Posts: 6,048 Back home in PA	A motorhome 440 with a steel crank, I don't think so 74 was the first year the 440 was listed for MH use On the other hand MH 413 uses a steel crank & rods comparable to the 440+6 with the only difference being bobwieght as it appears

Cab_Burge I Win C Joined: Aug 2003 Posts: 43,200 Bend,OR USA	1974 was a transition year for Dodge going from the H.D. 413 motors in the larger M.H. and trucks to the 440-3 motors in the same year and chassis units. I've seen forged steel cranks with the H.D. six pak rods in 440-3 cast blocks and assembled in 1974 I've also seen the same series motors with cast cranks and dampeners in 1974 vehicles Mr.Cab Racing and winning with Mopars since 1964. (Old F--t, Huh)

Sounded like it had a blower. 66 satellite conv w/413, cam & headers, 3.55 gears. 89 Dodge w150 4x4 318 Tbi. Opec's friend 72 Imperial coupe

DonnieLawson enthusiast Joined: Dec 2007 Posts: 229 Middletown , Ohio	My 73 440 was from a Motor Home , it had a steel crank and 6 pak rods ,now its a 505 stroker motor for my 68 Barracuda:) The 78 440 in my Rat Rod is a motor home engine also , but has a cast crank
