I recently bought a really cherry 89 dodge shadow turbo and its a hoot to drive, the only thing i dont like is it has excessive body roll.My other 2 daily driver cars are a viper coupe and a WS6 trans am so when i jump into the shadow and go for a rip ,it feels like its going to flip over onto its side when cornering.
Im thinking stiffer coils and maybe a slight lowering are what it needs?
Does anyone carry performance parts for these things anymore?

Lowering if you want but the thing it REALLY NEEDS is an anti-sway bar, maybe only in the front, but maybe one in the rear also.

Lowering and stiffer coils won't remove all that much roll. Stiffer coils will help to keep the outside on a turn from going down, but they will also help PUSH UP the inside on a turn, so the roll is still there. Anti-sway bar is what you want, matched to the coils and shocks.

What is "feels like" and what it needs maybe two different things. Your perception is likely to you the most important aspect, and there are many here that will repeat and support that, but reducing that roll may not improve actual handling performance without significant investment. You did say you have positive feelings right now about handling, except for roll? Are there any pics of the issue in full roll? It might help to get more information before you decide on a course of action and spend money unnecessarily.

PS I also think the viper is a bad influence on this topic

Reality check, that half the population is smarter then 50% of the people and it's a constantly contested fact.

Had an 86 Daytona, which I bought new. Same basic chassis as your Shadow.

Good tires, lowering springs, good shocks and struts, bigger front bar, added a rear bar and it handled very well. I believe I used Suspension Techniques springs and bars and I cannot remember what dampers anymore. Doesn't look like ST does Mopar stuff, unless it's captive imports.

Try www.fwdperformance.com the sell plenty of aftermarket performance parts for these cars.

Also check out www.turbododge.com. A lot of good info on there.

1989 National Champion in SCCA Solo2 H Stock used a Shadow.

For it's class at the time, it could be made to be a very good handling car.
At the time, stock rules would have allowed unlimited front sway bar and shocks. Rear bar and springs factory only. Tires were probably yokohama A008 r compounds, but that's a guess.

Turbo econoboxes etc went into a quicker class, E or G Stock, I'd have to look again to see which. But they could be a source of components for your purposes.

There are multiple front sway bar sizes all the way up to 1.25" (89 LeBaron GTC TII/555 and possibly others). The rear sway bar is actually the bar in the middle of the rear axle. I may still have a Shelby Z front sway bar (1.125", I think).

There is alot you can do but beyond the basic stuff there isnt a whole lot of 'bolt on and go' type of parts that exist since the market isnt there. keep in mind its a strut front end and beam axle rear end.
