Does anyone have a picture of how the gas tank venting is supposed to be set up on a 1970 440 six pack Super Bee ???

It has a return line from the vapor separator back to the tank, but no charcoal cannister.

Pictures??

Thanks,

Arnie

there is no charcoal canister on a 1970 , the return line connects to the vapor separator on one end and the sending unit on the tank at the other end.

Yes, I already have the vapor seperator return line hooked up as stated, but there is another tank outlet nipple that i believe gets hooked up to a vent line that runs through the trunk area???

Drawings or pictures anyone?

Thanks,

Arnie

there are 2 nipples up high on the tank that connect to vent lines , one line goes into and out of the trunk floor above the rear axle the other looks like the number 7 and clips to the shock crossmember , the line on the frame rail front to back connect to the fuel sending unit.

Is this an original California car with the Emissions package on it as is mandated for Cali-bound '70 models? Does it have N95 on the fender tag? If so, there should be a cylinder in the trunk (passenger side wheel well).....

The one that you say looks like the number 7 is missing... any pictures??? The other one is already hooked to the hard line that runs through the trunk.

Cheers,

Arnie

I don't have any pictures to post , it's a line that literally looks like a 7 , it's about 6 inches of line , small piece of rubber line that connects it to the tank.

edit , I did what seems to be lost on many ... google tab at the top of the page , took me less than a minute to find the picture in another thread ...

Anyone have the measurements of the "7" shaped line? everyone sells the 2 vent lines as a pair and I only need the "7"...

I could bend one up pretty quick...

Thanks,

Arnie
