Seems like rule of thumb is: High dollar trans, go expensive synthetic, not like you'll have to keep adding unless it leaks. regular stock type overhaul:name brand Dexron My .02, years ago I ran across a magnetic in-line filter made in Australia,(in the trans cooler lines) thru NAPA, also had a larger one for power steering. On some of my cars, I installed thinking you could basically change that one and leave the pan on for awhile? I also bought 5 gals of pennzoil dexron from amazon free freight to hawaii for $10 less than our garage price here at Oreillys. Hope this helps, Case
I'm 55 now, no time to waste. Not a week goes by that I don't hear about someone passing on.Let's get out there, smoke some tires, have a beer with a good friend,do what you have always wanted to do.I am pretty sure no one will ever say on their deathbed "gee I'm glad my life was calm and boring"

I use the Mopar ATF+ 4. I was a Dodge tech and have tons of that fluid and it works fine for me as I use it in all my cars including my 63. Ron
