I have some of the that black magic stuff. If I'd get caught out in the rain, would that stuff run down the bed sides like Armor All?
I've never noticed that. What color is your truck?

I always used regular Vinyl Top cleaner and conditioner. I forget the maker, but its the same stuff I always used on my cars roofs.

My cover is over 20 years old and still in great shape, (but then again its garage kept and not driven in winter and rain ) i used Armorall for years on my cover but didn`t like the streaks if I did get caught in a shower. Then last few years I just use the same Mequairs spray detailer that I use on the rest of the truck, spray on, wipe a little then wipe off after drying a little. No streaks )
