For a 1972 roadrunner, will 15x7 police wheels accept goodrich comp TA 255/50/15. Or do you think it will sit way to low?

They fit, but IMO they'll be too short. '72 RRs have huge wheel wells.

A friend had them on all four corners of a '70 Barracuda (they look small there also), they're still on the front but he went with 275/60/15s on the rear.

They would be ok on the front but you would want something much bigger for the rears like 275/60/15 that I run on the back of mine.

Just stuck some 215/75s on 15X7" rallyes on the front as I needed to use them up, but the 275/60/15s on 10" rallyes look awesome and IMHO needed to fill the wells on these cars to look right,
take a look at my stupid FB page for a photo or two...

I'm 55 now, no time to waste. Not a week goes by that I don't hear about someone passing on.Let's get out there, smoke some tires, have a beer with a good friend,do what you have always wanted to do.I am pretty sure no one will ever say on their deathbed "gee I'm glad my life was calm and boring"

While I wouldn't suggest it, the PO of my '71 GTX put a pair of 325-50-15 Comp TA's on the 15x7 ralleys in the back and 275-50-15 up front. They look good (aside from the sidewall bulge) and clear everything. These car have some BIG wheelwells!

I bet the 295's looked good!
In a previous post,I waffled heavily on 295s on 10" rallyes, and they just looked too short.Personal thing, but the car is kind of massive back there and needed a fairly tall AND wide tire to please my rum-soaked eye :-)
