I look for the obvious.. voltage regulator is moved, headlight and engine harness moved, choke on dash and correct grommet for choke cables to start with. If it's real, it still might have many original pieces but also keep in mind that everything can faked... except the numbers. (1,196 MW Plymouths in '63) body - 311 = Savoy 2dr sedan paint - EE1 = "dark metallic blue" trim - 301 = blue cloth & vinyl interior heater - 5 = (385) heater engine - 9 = (509) 426 Max Wedge low compression trans - 2 = (342) Torqueflite Dealer # 9143 not sure who this was but the region was Syracuse, NY. Chrysler Historical will sell/decode a copy of the IBM "production record" for your car. Got pics?

Correct, that is the number built. IMO "known to exist #s" are far from ideal.
