11" drum/backing plates from an 8 1/4" rear will also work on an 8 3/4.

As long as you keep the correct drums with the correct backing plates they will interchange.
As long as your not putting them on an A body 8-3/4. 8-1/4, 8-3/4, 9-1/4, DANA, all should interchange. I've even used F body 7-1/4 rear brakes on an 8-3/4.

If they were together on a C body and you change the bolt pattern on the A body to bbp you shouldn't have any issues.

I've even used F body 7-1/4 rear brakes on an 8-3/4.
So a 7-1/4 setup from an ebody would work on a 8-3/4? If so I need to pull the brake setup before the junk man hauls it off.
