I could'nt find a section for first post, so I hope starting here is ok. I've lurked here for many years and this place is great! Many thanks to Moparts for this forum. I've owned only Mopars my entire life with the exceptions of owning a 1960 TR3A and a 1967 TR4A when I was a kid. I currently have several mopars, I'll list a few of them if that's ok. -1956 300B, restored -1957 Saratoga hot rod -1950 Plymouth 2dr. Deluxe driver -1958 Imperial I'll try and post a pic or two of the '57. I look forward to meeting all of you and I hope this post is ok here. My dad and his 1973 dodge truck. (slightly mortifried) 1935 Airflow C-1 1948 New Yorker I have two, my dad did the upholstery (first time and last time, to much work ) We also have a -1966 300 -1973 Imperial -1980 Town Car I look forward to any comments or questions you may have.

This is a 1973 Dodge truck that became something else. My dad drew this in the fall of 1981 and six years later, this was the result. The car is powered by a 1973 340, it has 4WD(brakes), all leather seating with a rumble seat. A 1974 Imperial was the donor car for most of the parts including the grill, rear-end, electric windows and seats(narrowed 8" each). The headlights were '28 Lasalle I think. The mirrors are Ferd and the door handles I don'nt remember. The engine was moved rearward 28", the steering moved inboard and the colume tilt-tel '74 Imp . Every thing other than above was fabricated the hard way. I can take some pictures that show the hand-fabbed top and other things if anyone is interested just let me know.

Love the Airflow!
Saw one in a yard a few years ago, thought about it but was told that restorers sort of hog the parts so to hotrod a 'Flow is just about impossible... What is your experience?
Thanks, R
My dad restored this 35 in 96-97. The beauty in "hotrodding" is that the word original need not apply. I asked him about the hoarding of parts and he did'nt remember much of that. If you can't find parts you can fab many yourself.
The front grill "slats" were hand made from al sheet. The bezel under the drivers headlight was also home made.
I think this Airflow Hotrod sold for $600K

,,,love ur blue on,, rare bird wut? wondering is that a made or bought intake on the hemi ? The intake was bought from HOT HEADS or some other vendor. I think I may have the receipt somewhere. I made the top plate so as to rotate the carbs so that the butterflies would line up with the runners.

Who makes that tunnelram? I have been looking for a TR for my 354. Not crazy about the Hot Heads offerings.
