With hardly any details on your setup, it's really hard to recommend a cam at all. That said, the cam you linked to looks like a good street/strip cam in general.

It's Swifty! Swifty, you toad sucker!

Good luck with that. Valvesprings and retainer-to-valve guide need to be checked.

If your planning on driving your truck on the street a lot, you would be a lot happier with the 1st cam. The 2nd one is pushing normal street use. Gene

Never had a chance to run it at the track once we had it finished....??? But Mike (Scratch) can vouch for how it ran

that would be true, and yes I can vouch for the performance.

unless you build the rest of the 360 to go with the thumper cam, adding comp ratio/stall/gears it will not perform like the sales add said.

I would have went with a hughes whiplash in a stock 360 engine myself.

idels like a funny car, smooths out around 1800-2000 rpm for red light to red light action and is a nice cruzing cam for the street.

3 of my buddys run this cam,2-318s 1-360, my 349 stroker is up next with a whiplash 318 roller cam.

I've got the XE268H in my truck, very happy with the sound and performance. Runs 14.7@95mph weighing 4100 pounds.

well this build gets more and more pricey .. got the cam , bought new timing setup , getting ready to buy all new bearings and lifters , had the crank cleaned up at a local shop k&b engine and machine .
