TooMany62s top fuel Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 1,796 Greer, SC	I dug out my ' 62 parts book. The number you have doesn't show up as a spring assembly or a main leaf. But my '62 book doesn't show any max wedge stuff. That may be because it's an early book, I don't know. Maybe someone else will be more help.

Thanks. 64Polara500 The information I have shows for 62-63 there was no special Maximum Performance spring ,part number 2275862 was used on both sides and it was the heavy duty police,taxi,and station wagon spring(6 leaves) A factory bulletin suggested part number 2196937 be used on the right rear as an option.
