He was wanting to know if there is an automatic tranny with overdrive that would work with the slant 6? I have a buddy who put one in a Dart, and he had some cutting to do. The same guy is getting together an group buy on adapters to use a Turbo 200. I thought I read something about that one. However, if I had to spend several hundred bucks to get an adapter plate to put that trans behind a slant, IMO he would be money ahead finding a complete 2wd 5.2 magnum donor truck and putting the engine/trans in as a unit.

John_Kunkel Too Many Posts Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 25,801 Rio Linda, CA	Prior to '69 all /6's equipped with a 727 used an adapter plate to adapt the SB to the six...in '69 the /6 got its own dedicated 727 case.
