I'd like to keep my engine as clean as possible and also be able to just use the paper intake gaskets if possible. Is a valley plate a good idea for a street engine or should I just stick to the bathtub gasket?

My engine builder just made one. Just bolts on at the ends and some silly cone along the sides. I think he charged about $50.
keep in mind that if you are running an intake w/ a heat crossover such as an RPM, CH4B, 6-pack or the like IT WILL NOT fit unless you have a recessed pan.

I’m building a 500 with the Mopar Stage 6 heads. I bought an Indy Valley plate but it won’t work with these heads. Anyone have suggestions for manufactures where I can get a solid valley plate. I don’t see anything on Mancini’s website.
What block , B or RB , if it's a B , return the Valley plate and get the indy RB plate and modify it ...

Thanks everyone for the information. My starting foundation on this build is a 400 block. I'm looking at making my own valley plate with some 1/4" aluminum. Everything will be topped of with a Team "G" intake. I'll post pictures when I got it completed.
Doug Call up Monicattti Chysler (248-439-0261) and order P4876847 its for a low deck with stage 6 heads, I baught one about a month ago and it was $60.15 to my door.
