Why was the front clip cut up into pieces, and 'glassed back together?
Gone to the dark side with an LS3 powered '57 Chevy 210

Ever ask an aging model why she got a face lift?

My guess is maybe drooped and narrowed for aero? Looks like a new cowl scoop as well.

If my simple question was too difficult, and you don't know the answer, then just say so. Its OK not to know everything.
Why else would a nose need to be narrowed to match the body

The original nose was made identical to this one though, same scoop and width. I have a lot of work ahead of me, but it's all small things here and there.
You are correct and if you have any questions you have my number. I am looking forward to seeing it back at the track and am happy that it is in the hands of someone who likes the car as much as me.

Congrats on the car keep us posted on the progress with I presume the new block.
Thank you and yes it will eventually receive the Hemi (when finished) I am building with my new solid block.
Jimmy never got to finish what he was telling me about the TFX block in the car, it started pouring and we got distracted... I wonder if it is repairable
