Does anyone have jetting and metering rod specs for 3705 (750) carters, on a Vanke Intake? 426 is Running race gas, 557 cam, headers, and 11.5-1. Need a solid starting point. This is more for street use, and not so much the track. Thanks

The best way is to start off with stock jetting and do some real world test and tune work on your combo (dyno, track runs, etc.). Anyone telling you they can "set up" carburetors to offer best/max performance for any particular custom engine/chassis combo is blowing smoke.

*Since the older 3 step rods and jets are obsolete I'd reccomend buying new Edelbrock strip kits and swap all of them over to the new style 2 step rods and jets so you can have a nice selection of available tuning parts. www.walkerproducts.com sells them and can offer you cross reference info to match the old numbers to the new ones (which are different).

The carbs are front to rear. Which ones are your left and right? Which side of the car are you standing on? Thanks

right carb would be passenger side, left would be driver side. the opposite of standing in front of the engine looking back towards the firewall. of course this assumes your running cross ram carbs on a cross ram intake.

If the carbs are front to back, Is the driver's side the front of the car or is the passenger side the front of the car?
I'm fairly confident his engine is still in a longitudinal position.

Yes they did, however they were not 3705 (early 64 Cross Ram Hemi or Max Wedge application) carbs, not to mention that they spec'd them for 30-40 year old engine technology.

A lot of difference between 3705 carbs and St Hemis... but anyhow, here is the sheet.

I should add... I ran my carbs this way using .600 to .700 lift cams without touching the carbs any farther.
