I have a line on some 15" wheels in the small bolt pattern. The car currently has some worn out 13" tires on steel rims and I would like to upgrade.Any one know the largest tire I can put under this car with out causing steering woes or tire rubs?

This would be so much easier if I knew what I was doing...

Whats the width and back spacing of the rims?

For what it's worth, I'm running 255/60/15's on 7" rims with 4.5" back spacing. Springs relocated 3/4" inward. No changes to inner fenderwells.

I could probably go just a little taller/wider if I wanted to push it, but street drive my car more than race it so I wanted to have enough room for regular driving without issues. Only slightly rubs inner well if I'm hauling the entire family and go around a turn hard enough that the car leans. Otherwise no issues.

Thanks. The wheels I'm looking at are 6" wide and I'm not sure of the back spacing. The tires are 225/70/15.doesn't sound like I'll have any problems with that set up. Alliance,I've seen your car a couple of time and love it.Nice little ride.

15's will very likely be too large of tire diameter in the front but maybe a very low profile 15" er would clear. See how much clearance you have now in the front with the 13's then check the dia of some low profile 15's. Rears would be fine as said with the correct width/offset. Unless you go with special tires those rims will not work for you
