I have heard that the new hemi hydraulic roller lifters go to higher RPMs than the LA magnum style. What would it take to use these lifters in a LA magnum block? Can you just bush the lifter bores and feed them oil through the rockers? Do you need full time oil feed to the rockers? Can you get more lift out of them than the LA magnums which uncover their oil band at a moderate amount of lift?

I doubt it would be an easy swap. Among other things, the Gen3 hemi feeds the lifters through the push rods. Most engines are he other way around. I'm sure it could be done....but there are prob. easier/cheaper ways to get what your after.

Gen III Hemi oils through the push rods, yes, but from the lifters up I believe. You would have to completely reconfigure the oiling system on a LA engine to do this I believe
