Bought this new hot rod, should make a good bracket car. Has a 72 340 and 8 3/4 rear. Not sure what gears are but it is limited slip. Really solid body, came from North Carolina. Been parked for 5 years.

I always liked mine. Had it since 77. The only problem is they're kind of heavy compared to an A- Body. Mine has gone 1.53 60ft@3875lbs with the stock rear springs stiffened with a couple of leaves. good luck and enjoy it.

Car seems to be in good shape

The stripes would have to go along with the wheels

Good luck with it

Unbolt the K-member with the transverse T-bars and
put some struts on the front to lighten up the front
end... I was in on the design of that front end and
built MANY of them but its heavy... great if you want
to build a street rod but not very good for drag racing

Plans are to run it like it is for the summer, my 17 y/o son is going to drive it a little. He made his first pass 3 weeks ago in my 06 charger and he is hooked. He just needs to show some interest in working on it.

Scott, welcome to Mopar's version of the crazy uncle in the basement!

F's make great bracket cars. Turns out they make good Stockers and S/S race cars too.

Get ready for the following:

1-"What year is your Nova?"
(snuck into Super Chevy with one, told 'em it was a "Canadian Nova")

2-"Those things are tanks!"
(my all steel wagon, factory glass weighs 3180# w/o driver)

3-"Worst car EVER built"
(right....and 35 years later, they're STILL around)

I always listen to what Raff says, he's a smart guy, but, in the interest of cost savings ya might "get by" with the stock front end.
However ,the rubber doohickeys holding it to the frame will hafta go.
I believe somebody sells solid replacements
